What Buried (2010) offers the audience is a classic thriller film highlighting a man's desperate race for survival. The preliminary feelings that Buried (2010) leaves the audience with is the typical fight-or-flight response, as viewers question Whodunit throughout the film. on further reflection however, this film captures a man trapped in both a physical situation and by today's shiny society. Paul Conroy's situation is downplayed as corporate suits deem this situation to be beneath them and far, far away from the refuge they have created for themselves.
